Fished a morning 1/2 with lady anglers @robinhicksnunley @deniseehrich, Lynn Spraker and Jan Timon. Goal was a limit of red snapper then try to catch something on the surface. We caught our limit of 5 red snapper then put the kites up. No bites kite fishing and the rain covered us up so I bump trolled and as the lightning was starting and I cleared the spread we got bit in the middle of no where and caught a nice smoker kingfish. Great way to end the day. My afternoon trip we decided to reschedule. The guest had a lengthy drive and the weather seemed questionable at best during the time we made the decision.
