Capt. Patrick,
I wanted to share my personal experience fishing with Captain Patrick of Day Maker charters. Capt. Patrick definitely has a passion for fishing and it shows. But overall, by far, he lives up to his reviews. He's respectful, friendly, polite and very attentive. He knows a lot about the patterns, the waters and where to find the fish! We had an amazing time, made some friends along the way and we will all definitely be coming back to fish with this outfit and Captain Patrick! If you're looking for a good day of fishing with a respectable captain, I'd most definitely say he's your guide!! Thanks again Day Maker Charters for a memory of a lifetime! We will see you again soon!

Thanks for a great trip!
My wife and I go on a good many offshore charters each year, this was our third trip on the Daymaker and will not be the last. We have family in the area and they go with us. Pat works harder than any Captain we use and does not get discouraged on a slow day. He has always found us fish. This trip was a full day, big game trolling, then fish for for the freezer trip. I was suffering from a asthma flair up and did not fish hard, my wife and family had a blast, 5 out of 7 Sailfish landed and released, more were there, we are slow fighting them, a Mahi then 2 five gallon buckets of legal snapper. My family enjoyed fighting the many Bonita and Shark that got in our way. No one will work harder for you and your guest than Pat.

Hello Captain Price,
I want to thank you for the wonderful morning of fishing on April 12, 2015. We were so happy to have two sailfish take bait and for us to get the opportunity to enjoy the battle with one of the largest sailfish we all ever saw. Thank You very much for your work.
We plan to see you again for another fishing trip. I will call you to book the trip after I talk with my son-in-law John.
I am in a state of wonderment seeing the larger of two Sailfish caught with your experience and knowledge making all the difference to the successful trip.
The video is wonderful and we all love it. Would you have any still picture you took of the fish as they surfaced? If so, we would appreciate email of them.

Hi Captain Pat,
Thank you for all of your hard work Sunday afternoon to Monday morning. Although the wahoo and swordfish remained elusive, I know it wasn’t for a lack of effort on your part. I appreciate you checking the spread during our high speed troll, constantly checking our baits to make sure they were being presented correctly, changing the baits during our swordfish drift and letting us stay out extra to try and land a keeper. I know that if the fish were around, we would have landed them! I will recommend you and Day Maker Charters to any and all who ask. Thanks again for all of your hard work.
Regards,

Captain Patrick,
Andy and I wanted to take a moment to thank you for such a wonderful experience! Although the Sailfish did not cooperate, we had a wonderful time fishing with you. Since I am not a fisherman and this was my first offshore trip, I have to say I am hooked! I have always thought the Mahi was a beautiful fish and have wanted to catch one for a couple of years now…and thanks to you, it happened! I have included a picture of that Mahi in case you want to use it.
As Andy told you, he has been offshore fishing with several different Captains over the years, and you are the BEST…hands down! That is just another thing that makes you so good…you pride yourself on your fishing and it shows! Andy is looking forward to fishing with you again soon! Actually, he and a friend are wondering if you can recommend the best time to possibly catch a Sail (granted there are no guarantees). If you had to limit your Sail trips to one trip a year, when would that be? They are trying to plan a trip soon and hopefully the Sail will cooperate then.
Thanks again for such a wonderful experience! We look forward to fishing with you many more times! Next time, feel free to bring Zane with you.

Captain Pat,
We had yet another fantastic fishing trip on the Daymaker, one that will never be forgotten. A morning of bottom fishing yielded some big amberjacks, a couple of nice 20-30 pound gag groupers as well as a big red snapper and others, but the highlight was a monster 82 pound amberjack, certainly a fish of a lifetime. Incredible.
For a change up, we did some trolling and ended up with some dolphin and to top off an already memorable day, we caught a sailfish and a wahoo. A perfect ending. We can't say enough how much we enjoyed the trip. We also appreciated the time you took to pass along some of your knowledge and answer our many questions as well as the incredible effort you make to insure the best possible trip. Can't wait for our next trip.
Thank you again,

We left before dawn on a shared charter with Capt. Pat on the Daymaker. Once we got out of the St. Lucie inlet, we fished for live bait. We quickly filled the bait well with blue runners, red fins and other tasty treats for the big fish. We headed offshore for the gulfstream and set up the outriggers with rigged ballyhoo. While trolling, a big Hammerhead (8-10') came up in the spread but left before hitting anything. That would have been interesting if he hit a bait. Beautiful fish.
Suddenly, our deep spoon was slammed and the reel was screaming. Capt. Pat yelled Wahoo. One of the guys got on the rod and had a nice fight for about 10 minutes. Got it along side of the boat and it was a 35# wahoo (sushi delicious) gaffed it and into the fish box on ice. Next, we had a nice Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi) hit and more good table fare.

Trolling turned slow so we started deep dropping on wrecks with live bait. Hooked up immediately with some awesome Grouper (5 fish to 30#) and genuine Red Snapper (2 fish to 25#). Unfortunately they are off season and had to be released. One of the pictures show Capt. Pat puncturing the air bladder so the fish can swim back down 200 ft. Doesn't harm the fish. Delicious but still swimming and reproducing. Caught a nice Amberjack(sea donkey) but released it because it's not as tasty as what we had already had. Plenty of time left to catch more good eats.

We headed for nearshore fishing for Cobia. First fish (porgy) hit on a live crab and as it was getting near the boat we saw a 100 lb. jewfish chasing it to the surface. Got it out of the water quickly because the rod and reel would have been way overmatched. My live bait (blue runner) got nailed and the fight was on. A nice Cobia (40#) was on and it was quite the fight. Almost lost it under the boat in the rudder but got it free. As Capt. Pat was attempting the gaff it turned and he missed and the line got wrapped around the gaff. Fish was thrashing but Pat got free of it and 5 minutes later it was gaffed and in the fish box. More delicious fish. Next was a nice sheepshead and a small cobia (released). My bait then got hit by a Barracuda but I lost it.

Out of time and headed back to the docks with enough tasty fish for everyone. Another awesome Florida (east coast) fishing trip with Daymaker Charters. Probably as good a fishery as there is for diverse species and action.

Patrick,
Thank you. We had a great time and I'm already looking forward to the next trip. Thanks for your patience and most of all putting us on the fish while the rest of the fleet struggled. The Bahamas trip sounds like a good option for next year. I hope you have a great year and thanks again. Give me a call if you ever find yourself in VA Beach, love to take you fishing.

We chartered 2 days with Captain Pat Price with Daymaker. There were three of us that set out to catch our first sailfish. Due to such a mild winter this year, the sailfishing had been a little tricky for all of the boats in that area but Pat Price had completely met our goal within the first few hours of the trip! And not to mention the 50 Pound Dolphin he put us on made the newspaper!! So I will definitely recommend Pat and the Daymaker to anyone. I know I'll be back!
Thank you Capt. Price!

Pat,
Thanks for the great pictures and a fun fishing trip. You turned a trip that could have been not so good timing because of prior full moon and just after storm to a super day with your experience and sharp eyes. Not so much was caught by other boats that day but we had a dozen fish of many species from grouper, snapper, bass ,cobia, king and sail.
Thanks again from the Wilson family

Capt. Pat,
What an unbelievable day of tuna fishing on the Daymaker! We will never forget it. I will absolutely recommend you to anyone looking to spend a day with a knowledgeable, courteous, genuinely nice captain! And, oh yeah, the fishing: off the chart! But it's only a bonus; you and your boat made our trip. Keep up the great work.

Pat,
Another great day fishing with you aboard the Daymaker! I've had the chance to fish with captains in different parts of the world and have never met someone as knowledgeable, personable, and successful. It is really a treat to fish aboard the Daymaker and always a great learning experience....and we always catch fish. Today's catch of Grouper, Amberjack, and Cobia was another prize bounty.
If anyone ever wants to know whether they should book a trip..... I would tell them to go , go , go because it will be one of their best fishing trips and will provide a memory for a lifetime.
Thanks again for another great day!
Jeff

Capt. Pat,
Just wanted to let you know how much fun we had aboard the Daymaker. Catching 4 Gags, 1 Black, 9 Scamp grouper, 4 Amber Jacks and released 7 genuine red snappers, and other rudder fish, and sea bass, and jumped off 1 sailfish.
My buddy Eddie Pfister said he enjoyed watching Capt. Pat just doing his job, from finding bait in the morning to tying and rigging baits and tackle and putting us on the right fishing grounds, while at the same time watching all of the Daymaker's state of the arts electronics.
The Daymaker boat is a fishing machine, along with its captain. Your knowledge, patience and professional skills and hard work made for a very successful and fun fishing trip.
Eat your wheeties before you fishing with Capt. Pat Price on the Daymaker.
Thanks for Making our Day!

Pat,
I just want you to know that we had a wonderful time yesterday fishing on the DayMaker. It would have been a beautiful day even without the great fishing, but instead of just that, it was a day that I don’t think Milo, Ted, or me will ever forget. The fishing was beyond expectations. I would have been very happy with the tuna and amberjacks (my left arm is sore today), but to see and catch that beautiful sailfish was just awesome. And to be able to do so with my nephew and his son was really special.
I have some pretty good photos, but I would appreciate anything you might have so I can make up a little slide show of the trip for Milo and our friends. We’ll be headed back north in just a few weeks, so I doubt I’ll get out again this year with you, but I am looking forward to doing so again next year and also to welcoming you back to the Harbor Ridge Fishing Club. We would very much enjoy having you speak again if you would be so kind.
Thanks again,
Phil Hinderaker

Capt. Patrick Price,
Thank you for the incredible fishing experience and awesome bragging rights. Our son Michael (12) caught two grouper and a couple of dolphin. He believes the fishing trip was the best day of his life. Our youngest son Andrew (10) said it was the best thing we did all vacation and then bragged about catching the biggest fish of the day. Both boys are still telling the story in great detail which includes knowledge on each species we caught as well as a 65 pound grouper, several colorful dolphins, two amberjacks and expanding air bladders pierced by knives. I don't think they missed a word you said the whole trip.
You will definitely see us again next year.

Capt. Pat,
Our party of Roy Wagner, Matt Wagner, Graham Swenson and Danny Billingsley would like to thank you for an outstanding day of fishing. Even though the sail fish were not around you really made the trip exciting with Cobia, Dolphin, Bonita, Grouper and Sea Bass. The day was perfect. Thank you for teaching us redneck bass fisherman how to do it on the big seas. We are looking at making this a yearly outing with you.
Thanks again,
Roy

Captain Patrick with Day Maker fishing charters out of Jensen Beach, Fl, did an amazing job. I have been out on a few full day charters and not a single one was nearly as fun as the day I spent with Patrick. It was a rough go trying to make bait, but we were able to make enough to get the day started. He was not afraid to travel to make it work.
I had a friend that was somewhat a novice angler, and Patrick was patient and very clear with how to fish which species. While transiting in-between fishing spots if we saw fish boiling or booming on bait, he was on it and had already shifted gears to get them on the hook.
I can personally say that from now on, I will only book charters with Day Maker charters when I come home to visit. He is hands down in the business to bring people back to fish with him and provides only the best services. Amazing boat, clean and well stocked. Best trip I have ever had, even though fishing was slow, we got our limits of amberjack and black sea bass – we also chased a sail but unfortunately were unable to hook up.
Thanks again,
Wayne Deacon

My friend Andrew from Roanoke, VA and myself from St. Augustine, FL decided to go on a "Guy" Charter trip July 13th 2011. Obviously, it would have been easy to just go out of St. Augustine, FL, but I decided to look where I live and also in the Stuart, FL area. I spent weeks analyzing who I thought would be a good fit for our trip. I was able to locate DayMakerFishingcharters.com and read Captain Pat’s site and said this is the guy. Loved the fact that he keeps his fishing trips updated. Most other sites do not and that is a turnoff for me. I understand everyday you are not going to catch 50 fish, but if there is one Captain that is going to try there hardest to make that happen its Captain Pat on the DayMaker Boat.
What a great mix of fishing! Bonito, Sharks, Cobia, Mahi-Mahi, Grouper, Snapper to name a few!! Sure we didn't catch any sailfish, but man he makes sure to put you on some fish. He was personable with us and communicated with us. He even helped us book a Hotel Room near the Marina and all we had to do was show up. It was a very good overall experience and would recommend anybody out there looking to book a charter-make sure you look up this guy!
I am in the process of booking another charter with him in January so I can catch the elusive Sailfish.
Thanks again Captain Pat.
Till next time,

Capt Price of the Daymaker Fishing Charters is an extremely knowledgeable charter boat captain. His boat is well equipped with the latest electronics which he uses very well to make your day a memorable one. He is by far the hardest working captain I have ever fished with and was as committed to finding fish and staying on them as I was. Our tuna trip with Capt. Price was a huge success producing plenty of rod bending action and a cooler full of fish. I would recommend anyone thinking of taking a trip on a charter to give Capt Price a call.
Thanks you,
Robert

Captain Pat is a persistent and adaptable fisherman. He gets fish in the boat when other boats are struggling. Two quick examples:
In December 2009, my son and I were on our first sailfish trip. Pat worked hard all morning and into the afternoon with good luck on dolphin but no sails. He was monitoring the radio traffic and recommended that we move to another area, even though our scheduled trip was coming to an end. We shot over to a spot around 11 miles away and ended up pulling in 6 sailfish and 20 dolphin before the day was out. Smiles all around.
In May 2011, a friend and I were looking forward to a good day of fishing with the goal of getting some meat in the freezer. Pat recommended that we start the day bottom fishing. We moved rapidly from spot to spot; if we didn't have action in 1-2 drops Pat pulled us to another of his many marked locations. By the end of the day we had limited out on large amberjack and several types of grouper. The keepers ranged to 35 lbs and the catch totaled somewhere around 200 lbs. We caught and released many more out of season grouper, seabass, and snapper. The radio traffic indicated few if any other boats had that kind of action.
Pat is a hard worker, a patient teacher, and an experienced guide. There is no quit in him, and he loves what he does. It is a pleasure to spend a day with him, and I look forward to more fishing with Captain Pat in the future.

East Side Tuna Trip
Took a trip with Pat Price to look for YFT's and ran across to the other side. I went with my father, his friends, and my buddy who all have their own boats and are very experienced fishermen. We were all amazed at the skill and the multi-tasking ability of Pat Price. This guy was the best fisherman I have ever fished and we had our first yellowfin tuna around 30lbs and dolphin over 20lbs within 10 minutes of lines in the water. The excitement never stopped with multiple 3 headers of tuna and dolphin on at the same time and one quadruple hookup of tuna. Capt. Pat was and amazing gaffer and did not miss one fish the entire day. I couldn't believe how hard he worked and how quickly he deployed our trolling spread as we were approaching schools of hungry fish. We ended up with 15 tuna and approximately 15 dolphin with the majority of them being in the 20lb class and one 40 pounder that almost jumped in the boat. Saw a monster bull 50 plus pounds that wouldn't bite and even caught a wahoo. What a stellar day! Captain filleted fish once we were back and got to try my first yellowfin sushi as he was filleting - yum. Capt. Pat Price’s boat should be called the Yearmaker!

I took a trip this past Tuesday with Capt. Price on Daymaker, and all I can say is WOW. If you want to catch fish and have an able, energetic and willing to go the extra mile to ensure an epic day of fishing, make a reservation for the East Side Tuna trip. I have been fishing for many years, and have fished literally all over and without question the trip on Daymaker with Pat surpassed all my expectations and experience. We caught scores of fish: yellow fin, black fin, monster dolphin (45 lb+), and had several strikes from Blue Marlin. When things seemed to ease up, Capt. Pat was eager to put us back in water that guaranteed the controlled chaos of multiple hook-ups throughout our trip. The boat is fantastic, fast, and comfortable riding even in the heavy chop we encountered going back over the Stream, and Patrick is simply the best. I have already booked a return trip and can't wait.
Tony
Had a great time today. We caught fish and were treated great. Capt. Pat even spent extra time at the end of the day that he didn't have to make one more drop and we caught another 35 lb. amberjack and a 30lb.Cobia. I would recommend this trip to all my friends. We caught Dolphin, Amberjack, Cobia and Little Tunny. Thank you Captain Pat.

I have fished charter trips from the Pacific to the Great Lakes, the Atlantic and all over the Gulf of Mexico, but never fished with a more enthusiastic Captain than Pat Price. Unlike some Captains who are simply going through the motions, he genuinely wants you to catch fish. He is helpful with booking hotel/motel accommodations, restaurant choices or any other help/questions you may have.
His boat is comfortable and built for speed, both most of all, it is very fishable. He is prepared for the trip so all you have to do is step on the boat and go fish. There is no dead time loading ice, buying bait etc as all of that is done ahead of time.
While no one can guarantee the fish will bite, I feel you have the best opportunity to be successful with Captain Price. He informed us what we were going to try and catch and then would reevaluate as the day wore on. As the bite for one species slowed he would say, “Okay, the tide has fallen and the Wahoo bite has slowed, do you want to go catch some grouper and snapper while we wait for another tide change”. When the school of big dolphin showed up unexpectedly, he had rigged ballyhoo ready and instantly we were hooked up.
I know we will be booking additional trips with Captain Price. The variety of fish available in the area he fishes is unbelievable and when you combine that with an enthusiastic Captain, the possibilities are endless.
