Fished a Corona virus free zone today with Gary and Pete for a 3/4 day. We caught 14 snapper that we kept, a couple Amberjacks and nice sized Almaco Jack and a 18lb Kingfish. Started the day cobia fishing only to have kingfish bites we caught a 18lber on mono and after a hour plus and 5 drifts I gave up and ran offshore. Set the kites up and kite fished for almost 2 hours with no bites. Went bottom fishing and caught 2 Amberjack and a Almaco jack and had 3 Amberjacks on 3 different spots almost a mile between each of them get sharked. So we had 3 of 6 fish get eaten. Went snapper fishing and conditions were tough with coolish water and south tide but we collected 14 snapper included lane and mangrove. Ended the day Inshore looking for cobia again and no bites!
