The last 3 days we had sponsored Veteran trips. Taking our Troops or Veterans fishing really gives me joy. It’s not much compared to what they sacrifice and give us but giving them a day to hang with each other and focus on other things like fishing makes for a great day. Our first two days we were able to fish full days but unfortunately our 3rd day was cut short by weather from a passing cold front.
In the 2.5 days we caught a couple hundred fish, including 2 mahi mahi, 3 Grouper to 35lbs, countless snapper, triggerfish, seabass, and 11 cobia to 67lbs. Lots of laughs, lots of stories, lots of smiles, lots of fresh fish dinners.
Mission accomplished
