Fished a 3/4 day with Kevin and his buddies today. Shot our load on action pretty quick this morning. We caught a limit of 10 Kingfish by 8:30 and a couple of bonito. Headed offshore to look for a grass free zone and found one we bump trolled some live baits in. Kevin caught and released his first ever sailfish. Went a while without bites and tried bottom fishing. The current had backed off but the fish had lockjaw for us anywhere I went. We had a handful of bites and only caught a short AJ. Went back to rigger fishing and caught 1 out of a handful more kingfish. Ended up inshore looking for jacks to bend the rod on and no luck!
