Huge shoutout to my crew and anglers today. Capt Marshall Busha and Capt Dave Dalfo busted their asses last night till midnight and today in the cockpit. Went through 135 baits on blackfin, mahis, bonitos, kingfish, cudas and 5-5 on sailfish bites. My crew and anglers made the most of what I showed them and fortunately it was enough to win the daily award for the first day of the tournament. Hope for more sailfish bites tomorrow and to hang on to the lead.
Now the some real work begins as my evening engine room check showed a substantial oil leak on my starboard motor. Thinks it’s coming from the turbo drain. Praying nothing is cracked.
